My First Virginian Snow Storm

What a mess! I have never seen such chaos over snow before. This storm dumped a lot of snow in a few hours and didn't start til rush hour when everyone was on the road. There were cars abandoned everywhere! The middle of the road, the side of the road and off the road. It was craziness. I was on the road to get to the airport, that never happened. Our visitor got stuck at the airport for countless hours! At least the next day was better. The kids thought the snow was the greatest thing, they had so much FUN!

Cupcakes!

Back on my birthday I woke up to this lovely display of cupcakes. Christa and the kids put in some hard work making these from scratch. I definitely enjoyed one of these Red Velvet cupcakes for breakfast that morning!
